Dr. John Meshigaud

Dr. John Meshigaud is a 1992 graduate of the University of Wisconsin, School of Veterinary Medicine. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery. A native of Green Bay, WI, Dr. "Mesh" has lived in the Waupaca area since 1992. He has adopted two Jack Russell Terriers, Maggie & Daisy.

Dr. Brandon Trzebiatowski

Dr. Treb was born and raised in Waupaca WI. He attended the University of Wisconsin Veterinary School. His interests include football, golfing, softball, running, reading, and swimming with his wife Heidi, a former technician at our clinic. His life is shared with his daughter Anderson, domestic shorthair kitty Cinder, boxer Copper, and labrador Shakira. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery, especially with our feline friends!


Dr. Shari Hanneman

Dr. Shari Hanneman is a 2001 graduate from the University of Wisconsin, School of Veterinary Medicine. She's been working at Waupaca Small Animal Hospital for 10+ years. Her clinical interests are preventative care, behavior, dentistry and avian medicine. Outside of the clinic, Shari enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, dog (Merlin), and cats (Hawk, Poppy and Custer). She also enjoys competing in sprint triathalons, running, mountain biking, strength training and is an avid reader.


Certified Veterinary Technician

Charity graduated from Globe University with an Associate’s degree for Veterinary Technology in 2016. She completed her externship with Waupaca Small Animal Hospital and which led to her full-time employment. Charity has 20 years of experience with canine reproduction, and plans to specialize in that area. She has two inside cats (Lizzie and Serena), two outside cats (Zeus and Pintel), and two horses (Jack and Dundee). She also has Labrador Retrievers and a Toy Fox Terrier (Pirate). Charity lives in the Waupaca area with her husband. She also enjoys riding her motorcycle, taking photographs, and spending time with her family.

Mary Friday has been with WSAH for many years and we are so glad to still have her working with us a few days each month! Mary works reception and can help you set up appointments and answer questions about your pets. Mary enjoys spending time with her children, grandkids and great-grandkids!

Hi, I’m Jenny. I grew up in Waupaca on a dairy farm west of town. I went to school at Bel-Rea Institute of Animal technology in Denver Colorado and graduated in 1997. I have worked in the vet field since I was in High School, starting out here at Waupaca Small Animal Hospital and then in the Wausau and Stevens Point Area for 18 years. I have 2 Dobermans, 3 house cats and 5 barn cats, a Ball Python Snake, many dairy goats, cattle, chickens, pigs and a miniature pony. I have been married to Brian since 1996, we have 3 children and we enjoy our farm and traveling.



Certified Veterinary Technician

Shilo was born and raised right in the area.  She attended UW Madison, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Wildlife Ecology, with a certificate in Environmental Sciences. She has over 15 years of experience as a veterinary assistant and technician. Shilo became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2016. Her main interest is in preventative veterinary medicine, especially focused on dentistry. She is excited to share her knowledge with clients and their pets. Also she is so happy to have returned to the area and found an amazing place here at the Waupaca Small Animal Hospital. She shares her love of animals with her two adopted cats Sprite and Lollipop, and her family’s horses, cats and dogs.

I’m Carrie and just started at WSAH in May 2018. I enjoy being around animals and have 2 miniature schnauzers of my own. Their names are Lizzie and Pepper. I also have 2 beautiful daughters and enjoy spending much of my time with them. Together as a family we enjoy camping, bonfires, and having family game night. I have lived in Waupaca for 18 years now. I hope to learn and grow in knowledge as I work here at WSAH.


Veterinary Assistant

Dani Arnold grew up in the Waupaca area. She has been very involved in 4H, showing dogs, goats, horses, pigs, & poultry. Dani aspires to be a Veterinary technician and is taking classes through Penn Foster. Dani has 3 dogs, 2 cats, 4 horses, 13 goats, 4 turkeys, 4 geese, 14 ducks and 7 chickens.
